Using GoFundMe Pro (formerly Classy) Pass-Through URL Parameters with PowerLinks

Adding parameters to your text message URLs can do more than just track important information - like donations and amount raised - in Google Analytics. There are a number of URL parameters that can be added to Tatango links to pre-fill GoFundMe Pro donation forms fields, help reduce form friction and increase form conversions.

Using Tatango's PowerLinks you can customize your text message link URL to prefill a GoFundMe Pro donation form with each subscriber's personal information.

To use Tatango PowerLinks to prefill GoFundMe Pro donation forms, enter the GoFundMe Pro Pass-Through Parameters (pulled from this GoFundMe Pro article) as URL Parameter Keys in the left column of Tatango links as shown below:

In the right column, select the Tatango URL Parameter Value from the drop down that matches the left column and click the Shrink button above. Your GoFundMe Pro URL with Tatango PowerLinks added would be:

https://www.classy.org/give/341658/?first={first_name}&last={last_name}&email={email_address}#!/donation/checkout

In the above example, we're prefilling first name, last name and email on the GoFundMe Pro donation form.

Here are the parameters that can be used to pass from Tatango to prefill GoFundMe Pro donation forms via your text message URL:

Available Parameters

Supported GoFundMe Pro parameters include:

URL Parameter Key	Description
first	First name appears in the checkout form
last	Last name appears in the checkout form
email	Supporter’s email appears in the checkout form
phone	Phone number appears in the checkout form
street	Street address appears in the checkout form
city	City appears in the billing part of the form
state	State appears in the billing part of the form
zip	Zip code appears in the billing part of the form
amount	Passes a pre-selected donation amount in the campaign's default currency to the donation page. The amount appears in the other field unless the amount is equal to one of the predefined amounts.
preset	Updates the amounts listed on your four donation amount buttons. For example, preset1=100 would make the first donation amount button display $100
