Want to send a non-recurring, one-time transactional SMS message to a mobile phone number, when something happens on another software service like MailChimp, Salesforce, Facebook Ads, Shopify, or HubSpot? If so, then you can use Zapier. The best part? Zapier does not require you to know any coding!

When creating a "zap", you can select what other software service you want to connect to Tatango as your "Trigger App". The "Trigger App" is the software service that you are currently using to manage customers, or capture leads like MailChimp, Salesforce, Facebook Ads, Shopify, HubSpot, etc.

The "Trigger" is what happens in those software services. That tells Zapier it is time to create an "Action" in Tatango. Be sure that before the "Trigger" happens, you have whoever's mobile phone you want to message, saved in the "Trigger App" software. The "Action" in Tatango that happens after the "Trigger", is sending the non-recurring, one-time transactional SMS message to a mobile phone number.

Once the "Trigger App" and the "Trigger" have been setup, you'll need to setup the "Action App", which is Tatango. To setup Tatango as your "Action App", you need to get your Tatango account's API key.

Once that is done, you will setup the "Action", which is what will happen within Tatango when the "Trigger" happens in the other software service. This "Action" needs to be set as "Send Transactional Message".

So essentially what you setup in Zapier is an automated process, where an "Action" happens within the "Action App", and then automatically an "Action" (Send Transactional Message) takes place in the "Action App" (Tatango).ย

That is how you create a non-recurring, one-time transactional SMS message that is sent to a mobile phone number, when some action is taken within another software service like MailChimp, Salesforce, Facebook Ads, Shopify, HubSpot, etc., to Tatango.
