Before You Begin

Create a new API key in Tatango at https://app.tatango.com/api_keys

Steps to Update Your Zap

  1. Open your Zap in the Zapier editor

  2. Delete the Tatango action step -> You'll now see a + in its place

  3. Click + to add the new version of the connector -> Search and select Tatango as the app for the action

  4. Navigate to the Setup tab (should already be selected)

  5. Update your connection:

    1. Click the Change button next to the App field

    2. Search for "Tatango"

    3. Select Tatango from the results

  6. Create a new authentication:

    1. Under Setup โ†’ Account, click Change

    2. Select + Connect a new account

    3. Paste the API key you created in Tatango

    4. Click Yes, Continue to save the connection

  7. Verify your connection:

    1. Zapier will display your Tatango account username to confirm the connection is working

  8. Reconfigure your action:

    1. Select your Action Event (e.g., "Create Subscriber")

    2. Click Continue

  9. Set up your action fields:

    1. Fill in the required fields in the Configure tab

    2. Map data from your trigger to the appropriate fields

    3. Click Continue

  10. Test your action:

    1. Click Test step to verify everything works

    2. Review the test results to confirm the action completed successfully

  11. Publish your changes:

    1. Click Publish in the top right to save your updated Zap
