If you are fortunate enough to be hired early on in a campaign, it is imperative you provide them with the tools they need to increase their texting programs reach.

Campaigns are always quick to order signs, step and repeats, campaign bus wraps and more. But most of the time they don't maximize these assets to drive voters to your communication tools...mainly texting!

STEP AND REPEAT

Every time your client has an event, have one of these in place for 1) people who want their picture taken in front of it (think red carpet!) and 2) during interviews with your candidate.

This is FREE ADVERTISING!

Don't let them just use the campaign logo. Use this space wisely!

TABLE CLOTHS

Volunteers and staffers will spend countless hours at fairs and other events. Not everyone will stop by the booth, BUT if you give them the ability to text to your campaign, they will be opted in and can receive issue related emails to sway their vote.

YARD SIGNS

Everyone always wants a yard sign!

Make the most of your signs by adding a keyword and your short code OR add a QR code that redirects to a Click to Join link (Click here for directions.)

Send persuasion content to the people who opt in this route. For example send messages about the candidates stance on various issues. Send messages about upcoming events where they can hear from the candidate in person. Or send them surveys asking for their opinion on issues.

CAMPAIGN BUS WRAP

There is nothing that screams "SEE ME" more than a campaign bus. We've seen way to many campaigns miss a HUGE opportunity to advertise their texting program.

PUT YOUR CODE AND A KEYWORD ON YOUR BUS!!!!

This is a moving billboard. Put it on the bumper, on the side, on the back. Make it seen!

PODIUM SIGNAGE

Podium signage is just as important as the bus. Though your podium doesn't move persay, it does get around! Print a keyword and your shortcode on the sign. It will be seen at events, on TV and elsewhere. Make sure all of the campaign teams have a sign for every event.
