Tatango’s integration with Blackbaud's Luminate Online (LO) Groups makes it easy for nonprofits to sync their LO and TeamRaiser (TR) Groups with Tatango to segment text messages. It also helps you target texts by LO Groups and keep opt-in and opt-out statuses up to date across LO/TR and Tatango.
This integration lets you build advanced segments in Luminate Online and sync them to Tatango as Tags — like donor groups, event participants, advocates, and more. These segments are synced into Tatango as tags, making it easy to tailor text messaging to the right audience. Additional constituent-level fields from LO, such as external last gift amount, zip code and first/last name, can also be synced for more precise targeting.

How to Use the Luminate Online Groups Integration
Within your list, go to Settings > LO Groups
Enter the LO Group ID. Click Sync. In the below example, the LO Group ID is 11665.
The LO groups are synced the following morning.
In your message, under Recipients, use the Segmentation Tag is (LO Group ID). In the below example, the LO Group ID is 11665.
Note: Multiple LO Group IDs can be added as Tags to target multiple LO Groups.
