Are you interested in passing additional information about your subscribers, like what mobile phone carrier they're using, in something like a query string within your SMS message? If so, you're in luck as that's what our carrier ID merge tag does.
Instructions
- When creating a message, use the merge tag {i} in your message.
- That's it, finish your message as you normally would, then send/schedule/save. When someone receives a message with the merge tag {i}, it will be replaced with their carrier ID, so for example, 79 (T-Mobile) or 383 (AT&T).

- If for some reason a phone number is missing a carrier ID, it will be sent as a blank carrier ID.
