Tag a subscriber from the Inbox or their record page: every tag shows as a pill you can remove, and you can add or create one by picking from your list or typing a new name.

Tag a subscriber while you're in their conversation in the momoGood Messaging Inbox, or from their record page. You don't have to go anywhere else. Every tag on the subscriber shows as a pill. Click its X to remove it. To add a tag, pick one from your list or type a new name. A tag you created on the Subscriber Tags page is in that list too, ready to apply.

Key things to know

  • Every tag on the subscriber shows as a pill, favorites or not.

  • Each change saves the moment you make it. There is no Save button. You'll see "1 tag successfully added to record" or "1 tag successfully removed from record".

  • Removing a pill unassigns that tag from the subscriber.

  • New tag names can be up to 25 characters: letters, numbers, spaces, periods, hyphens and underscores.

  • The record page uses the same pills, so a tag works the same way in both places.

Before you start

This is available to all momoGood Messaging customers as of October 2026. You need to be able to edit tags. Users with Inbox-only access can add, remove and create tags and star favorites, the same as anyone with more access.

Add or remove a tag in the Inbox

  1. Open a conversation in the Inbox.

  2. In the TAGS section of the panel, click New tag +.

  3. Pick a tag from the list. Favorites are at the top, and tags the subscriber already has are checked.

  4. If the tag doesn't exist yet, type its name and choose Add ….

  5. To remove a tag, click the X on its pill.

To make a tag a favorite, click the star next to it in the list.

Add or remove a tag on a subscriber record

  1. From Subscribers in your list, open the subscriber's record.

  2. In the Tags field, click New tag + to add a tag, or the X on a pill to remove one.

The rest of the record page layout hasn't changed.
