🔄 Funraisin Integration Setup (Sync Event Registrations to Tatango)
This integration allows you to automatically sync new SMS opt-ins from Funraisin event registrations directly into Tatango. It ensures your contacts are kept up-to-date for seamless messaging and segmentation.
📋 Fields Synced from Funraisin to Tatango
The following fields are available to sync:
Phone Number – We prioritize the mobile number. If unavailable, we’ll fall back to home. Tatango validates that all numbers are valid mobile numbers before adding to ensure deliverability.
First Name
Last Name
Member ID
Registration Date
Event Name
Event Date
🔖 Note: Each contact is also tagged with their Event ID for historical reference and segmentation.
🔧 Step 1: Funraisin Setup
Go to Tools → Users and create a new API user for Tatango (or use an existing one).
Click the Edit (pencil icon) next to the API user.
Scroll down to API Access and click Show API Key.
Copy your API key and set it aside.
⚙️ Step 2: Tatango Setup
Create custom fields in Tatango for any data you want to bring over.
For Member ID, use the merge tag: funraisin_member_id
All other fields can be named however you like.
In Tatango, go to My Account → Integrations
Click All Apps
Find the Funraisin tile and click Configure
Under Authentication, paste in the API Key you copied earlier
Choose the Tatango list you’d like to add or update subscribers in
Map the Funraisin fields to your Tatango custom fields
Copy the Webhook URL shown at the end of setup
🧩 Step 3: Final Webhook Setup in Funraisin
In Funraisin, go to Tools → Developer
Click Browse Webhooks
Click New Webhook
Fill out the webhook setup form:
Name: Tatango Registrations
Data Source: fundraising
Action: registered
Method: POST
Destination URL: Paste in the Webhook URL from Tatango
Click Save
✅ You’re All Set!
Once your webhook is saved, Funraisin will automatically push new registrations to Tatango in real time, keeping your list updated with fresh, compliant opt-ins.
